While this website cannot replace the personalized advice of your doctor, you can trust the links provided as scientifically valid information that will hopefully answer some of the questions that may come up as you progress with your treatment.
Before making any treatment decisions, always talk to your rheumatologist
Talking about your treatment with your rheumatologist:
- Make a note of any questions that you may have for your rheumatologist in advance so you won’t forget to ask them during your visit.
- If possible, ask a friend or family member to join you. Having the support of your friends and family can make the entire treatment process easier and less overwhelming.
- Bring a pen and paper to take notes regarding any discussions that you have with your rheumatologist.
- First, talk about your biggest concerns. Let your rheumatologist know what bothers you the most, and don’t be afraid to talk about your feelings.
- Don’t be afraid to ask questions.
